JusVox™ Affiliate Program — Tax & Compliance Policy Applies to the JusVox Affiliate Program Owned and Operated by Certified Reporters, LLC Effective Date: August 12, 2026 JusVox is committed to operating its Affiliate Program in a professional, transparent, and responsible manner. This Affiliate Program Tax & Compliance Policy (“Tax & Compliance Policy” or “Policy”) explains the tax documentation, payment eligibility, taxpayer information, and compliance requirements applicable to individuals participating in the JusVox Affiliate Program. This Policy supplements the:
The Affiliate Program Policy governs referral eligibility and compensation. This Tax & Compliance Policy governs the documentation and compliance requirements necessary for an Affiliate Member to receive payment. Our goal is simple: JusVox handles the documentation, recordkeeping, payment administration, and reporting responsibilities that belong to JusVox. Affiliate Members remain responsible for the individual tax obligations that belong to them.
This Policy applies to every Affiliate Member participating in the JusVox Affiliate Program. For purposes of this Policy, an “Affiliate Member” or “Affiliate” means an eligible JusVox Member approved or activated to participate in the Affiliate Program. Participation remains subject to all applicable JusVox policies.
The JusVox Affiliate Program is currently available only to eligible United States citizens. Eligible Affiliate Members may reside in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia, subject to applicable law and JusVox’s ability to administer the Program in that jurisdiction. The U.S. citizenship requirement is a JusVox Affiliate Program eligibility requirement. It is separate from federal taxpayer classification. Affiliate Members may be required to certify their eligibility accurately during onboarding. Providing false or misleading information concerning citizenship or Program eligibility may result in suspension or termination from the Affiliate Program.
Affiliate Members must complete all tax documentation reasonably required by JusVox before receiving Affiliate Program payouts. An Affiliate may earn or accrue commissions according to the Affiliate Program Policy before tax onboarding is complete where JusVox permits that functionality. However: No affiliate payout will be released until required tax and payout documentation has been successfully completed. This protects both JusVox and the Affiliate Member by ensuring that payment records and taxpayer information are properly established before funds are distributed.
Eligible Affiliate Members will generally be required to complete IRS Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification, or an equivalent secure electronic tax-certification process. Form W-9 is used to provide taxpayer identification information to a payer that may have information-reporting obligations. (IRS) The information requested may include:
Affiliate Members must provide accurate and complete information.
For clarity, completing a Form W-9 does not by itself establish eligibility for the JusVox Affiliate Program. The IRS uses Form W-9 for U.S. persons, a federal tax category that may include individuals and entities beyond U.S. citizens. (IRS) JusVox separately requires Affiliate Program participants to satisfy the citizenship and other eligibility requirements established by the Affiliate Program Policy.
JusVox may use Stripe or another qualified third-party payment, tax, or compliance provider to securely collect and process Affiliate Member information. Affiliate Members may therefore be asked to complete tax or payout onboarding through a third-party interface. Where reasonably practical, JusVox intends to avoid unnecessarily storing complete sensitive taxpayer information, such as full Social Security numbers, directly within ordinary JusVox application systems. JusVox may instead maintain status information such as:
This approach is intended to reduce unnecessary exposure of sensitive information.
Before receiving payments, an Affiliate Member may be required to complete payout onboarding through Stripe or another provider designated by JusVox. The provider may request information such as:
Stripe Connect supports tax-reporting and connected-account tax-information workflows for platforms, although the platform may still retain reporting responsibilities depending on the configuration used. (Stripe Docs)
Affiliate Program earnings may generally progress through statuses such as: Pending Referral or renewal is awaiting validation. Confirmed The applicable referral or renewal has satisfied the Affiliate Program requirements. Available for Payout The commission has been confirmed and the Affiliate Member has satisfied applicable payout requirements. Paid The payment has been submitted through the designated payment provider. Tax or compliance onboarding may prevent a confirmed commission from becoming payable until required information is complete.
Affiliate compensation may constitute taxable income. Each Affiliate Member is responsible for determining, reporting, and paying the federal, state, local, and other taxes applicable to that Affiliate Member’s individual circumstances. Depending on the Affiliate’s circumstances, these obligations may include:
JusVox does not determine an Affiliate Member’s individual tax liability. Affiliate Members should consult a qualified tax professional when they need advice regarding their particular circumstances.
The fact that JusVox pays an Affiliate Program commission does not mean that the payment is tax-free. Likewise, the fact that an Affiliate Member does or does not receive a particular tax form does not, by itself, determine whether that Affiliate Member must report the income. Affiliate Members remain responsible for properly reporting income according to applicable law.
Certified Reporters, LLC will maintain appropriate records concerning Affiliate Program compensation and will satisfy applicable information-reporting obligations when required by law. Depending upon applicable law and the payment structure being used, this may include filing or furnishing an appropriate information return, such as Form 1099-NEC or another required form. The IRS identifies Form 1099-NEC as the information return used for reportable nonemployee compensation. (IRS) JusVox will determine the appropriate reporting method based upon then-current law and its payment-processing configuration.
Tax-reporting rules and reporting thresholds may change over time. Accordingly, this Policy does not guarantee that a particular dollar threshold will remain applicable. JusVox will apply the reporting requirements in effect for the applicable tax year. Current IRS instructions should control over any outdated description, summary, or prior Program communication. (IRS)
Where required, Affiliate Members may receive an applicable tax form relating to Affiliate Program compensation. Tax forms may be:
Stripe provides functionality for Connect platforms to generate, file, and deliver applicable 1099 tax forms depending on the platform’s configuration. (Stripe Docs) Affiliate Members are responsible for keeping their contact and taxpayer information current so required tax documents can be prepared accurately.
Affiliate Members may participate from different U.S. states. State tax and information-reporting obligations can differ by jurisdiction. Where required, JusVox or its designated provider may complete applicable state reporting associated with Affiliate Program payments. Affiliate Members remain responsible for determining their own state and local filing and payment obligations. Stripe’s Connect tax-reporting tools can support qualifying state filings when configured for that purpose. (Stripe Docs)
JusVox generally intends to pay Affiliate Program commissions without withholding ordinary individual income taxes unless withholding is required by applicable law. However, JusVox may withhold amounts when legally required, including where applicable taxpayer certification or taxpayer identification requirements have not been satisfied. Affiliate Members are responsible for making their own estimated or other tax payments when required.
Affiliate Members must provide truthful, complete, and materially accurate tax information. An Affiliate Member must not knowingly provide:
JusVox may suspend payout processing if tax information appears incomplete, inconsistent, invalid, or fraudulent.
Affiliate Members must promptly update their information if circumstances change. Changes may include:
An Affiliate Member may be required to complete an updated Form W-9 or other certification following a change.
If required tax, identity, or payout information has not been completed, JusVox may hold otherwise valid commissions until the required documentation is received. A compliance hold does not automatically mean the underlying commission has been forfeited. Where the Affiliate Member remains otherwise eligible, legitimately confirmed earnings will generally remain associated with the Affiliate Member while required documentation is being completed, subject to the Affiliate Program Policy and applicable law. The purpose of the hold is compliance—not confiscation of legitimate earnings.
Providing knowingly fraudulent tax, identity, banking, or compliance information is prohibited. If JusVox reasonably suspects fraud, JusVox may:
Any investigation will be administered in accordance with the Affiliate Program Policy.
JusVox may maintain records relating to:
These records may be maintained for legitimate purposes including:
IRS guidance states that payers using Form W-9 information should retain appropriate records supporting the payee’s name and TIN information. (IRS)
Taxpayer and payout information is sensitive. JusVox will handle personal information in accordance with:
Third-party payment or tax providers may separately process Affiliate information under their own terms and privacy policies. Affiliate Members should never send Social Security numbers or other sensitive tax information through ordinary email, direct messages, public posts, or other unsecured communication channels unless expressly instructed through an approved secure process.
JusVox may provide general information explaining how the Affiliate Program operates. However, JusVox does not provide individualized:
JusVox cannot determine how Affiliate Program income affects an individual Affiliate Member’s personal tax return. Affiliate Members should consult their own qualified professional when needed.
Subject to applicable law and the applicable payment structure, JusVox will endeavor to:
Each Affiliate Member is responsible for:
The allocation is intentionally straightforward: JusVox handles JusVox’s reporting and payment obligations. The Affiliate Member handles the Affiliate Member’s individual tax obligations.
Tax and information-reporting laws can change. JusVox may therefore update:
Changes will be applied prospectively where appropriate.
Nothing in this Tax & Compliance Policy changes the Affiliate Program’s current compensation structure. The current compensation terms are governed by the JusVox Affiliate Program Policy, including: $20.00 one-time Initial Referral Commission per Qualified Initial Referral and $10.00 Annual Renewal Commission per qualifying paid annual renewal under the then-current Affiliate Program terms. This Policy governs the requirements for receiving those payments, not whether the underlying referral or renewal qualifies.
Affiliate Program participation does not create an employment relationship between an Affiliate Member and Certified Reporters, LLC. Affiliate Program payments are not wages merely because a payment is made. Affiliate Members do not become employees solely by earning referral compensation. The Affiliate relationship is governed by the JusVox Terms of Service and Affiliate Program Policy.
JusVox may reasonably review Affiliate accounts to confirm continuing compliance with:
Compliance reviews are intended to protect the integrity of the Affiliate Program and ensure payments are administered properly.
Affiliate Members should contact JusVox if they believe:
JusVox may request additional documentation where reasonably necessary to investigate or correct the issue.
