The Platform is a professional discovery and networking infrastructure for attorneys, court reporters, legal videographers, interpreters, and related legal support professionals.

We are not:

• A court reporting firm or agency
• A law firm
• A brokerage
• A payment processor
• A custodian of client or case data
• A professional service provider

We do not perform, supervise, or manage legal services or reporting services.

We collect only the information necessary to operate a professional networking platform.

2 Information We Collect

We collect only information that users intentionally provide or that is technically required to operate the Platform.

2.1 Account & Profile Information

You may provide:

• Name
• Business name
• Professional role
• Credentials
• Contact information
• Profile text
• Location
• Profile photos

All such information is user-generated and user-controlled.

2.2 Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect:

• IP address
• Device type
• Browser type
• Pages visited
• Time stamps
• Referring URLs

This data is used solely for:

• Security
• Performance
• Fraud prevention
• Platform optimization

2.3 Payment Information

All membership payments are processed by Stripe.

We do not receive or store:

• Credit card numbers
• Bank account numbers
• Payment credentials

Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy.

• Deposition transcripts

 Important: Users are expressly prohibited from using the Platform as a repository for sensitive, regulated, or case-specific data. The Platform is not designed or permitted to store regulated, privileged, or case-specific legal information.

4 How We Use Information

We use information only to:

• Operate the Platform
• Display professional profiles
• Enable communication
• Maintain security
• Process memberships
• Enforce our Terms

We do not:

• Sell personal data
• Operate advertising networks
• Monetize user data

5 Data Visibility

Information you choose to place in your profile may be visible:

• To Members on Social.JusVox.com
• To the public on JusVox.com

You control what you publish.

6 Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party vendors such as:

• Stripe (payments)
• Hosting providers
• Security and infrastructure services

These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their function.

We are not responsible for their independent privacy practices.

7 No Custodianship of Legal or Regulated Data

We do not act as:

• A court reporting firm
• A record keeper
• A custodian of legal materials
• A data escrow

Members must not upload or transmit confidential, regulated, privileged, or case-specific legal data through the Platform.

7.1 No Regulated Data; No HIPAA or Privilege Responsibility

The Platform is not designed or intended to store, process, or transmit regulated, confidential, privileged, or legally protected information, including but not limited to medical records, protected health information (PHI), attorney-client privileged materials, work product, or case evidence.

Certified Reporters, LLC does not act as a "covered entity," "business associate," data processor, or legal custodian under any healthcare, privacy, or professional responsibility statute, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) or any analogous state or federal law.

Any attempt by a user to upload or transmit such information is done in violation of these Terms and at the sole risk of that user.

8 Data Security & Breach Risk

We employ commercially reasonable safeguards to protect data.

However:

• No system is perfectly secure
• You assume the risk of internet-based transmission

We disclaim liability for unauthorized access, data loss, or breaches caused by:

• Cyberattacks
• Third-party service providers
• Infrastructure failures
• User error

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Certified Reporters, LLC shall not be liable for any damages, claims, penalties, regulatory actions, or losses arising from any unauthorized access, data breach, or security incident, including those involving user-submitted information or third-party service providers. Any notification of a security incident is provided for transparency and does not constitute an admission of fault or liability.

9 Data Retention

We retain data only while:

• Your account is active
• Or as required by law

We may retain limited data for:

• Compliance
• Security
• Dispute resolution

10 Your Privacy Rights
